The Apostle Paul said that wherever the Holy Spirit is there is freedom. For Paul, the folks in ancient Corinth were not free. Instead of new life through the inspiration of the Spirit of Christ, they settled for the illusion of life that the world advertised. They traded in unique gifts and purpose for a worldly tug of war. Although the Corinthians thought they were living the good life, they, in fact, were not living at all. Can the same be said of us?
