The Corinthian Way: Resurrection

Paul accuses at least some of the Corinthians of having faith that is in vain, or without purpose, direction or vision. But how does a person come to believe without purpose? For Paul, if we say we follow Jesus and, at the same time, we settle for the life we have known, we believe in vain. The Resurrection provides a map of where we are heading, and so our lives should reflect belief that has two sharp eyes on resurrection, on new life. So are we settling for the status quo or are we hoping for something new?
