Oftentimes our actions are limited by the way we see things, by what we cannot see. Like inexperienced and unimaginative remodelers working on an old, broken home, our efforts are half-hearted, because we don’t see how the house can be made new. Yet the followers of Jesus serve as examples of people who were filled with the Holy Spirit and with God’s vision of universal restoration. That vision made them want to sacrifice and persevere so that the times of refreshing could come to all in the name of Jesus. What sort of vision of restoration do we have?
