As a local church, and as people in general, it’s important to keep in mind who we are at our core. As we think about the vision of our church–our DNA–Luke 7:36-50 is a great starting place. In that story, Jesus reveals to us that welcoming people comes down to how you see self, God and others in relationship to each other. As a community of followers of Jesus Christ, we hope to welcome all people because we see that all people carry the image of God equally and all people are equally in need of the grace Jesus offers.

And that is, we all are chosen and supremely qualified.
