The story of the Good Samaritan is one of the most famous stories in the history of the world. Even if someone has never heard the story, they know the term, “Good Samaritan.”
Though we know of the Good Samaritan, we struggle with being the Good Samaritan. Jesus said that being the Good Samaritan is how you love God and love your neighbor as yourself.
Being the Good Samaritan–pausing to be alongside our wounded neighbors, helping them to heal and giving them shelter–is the way forward in our current situation. So how can we pull it off? How can we love God and love neighbor in this way–to make it a way of life?
Pastor Brian White helps us to think about being the Good Samaritan in his message from July 10, 2016.
