At the conclusion of our Good Work series and at the conclusion at the of Paul’s letter to the Galatians, the issue is boiled down to this:
What fruit do you bear with your work?
What marks your life’s work?
Does your life’s work point to all that matters?
Paul says at the end of Galatians, “What matters is a new creation” (6:15). One of Paul’s prevailing messages in Galatians is, God is calling you to all the matters, to work that lasts. With all that we are and all that we do, Jesus has come to gather us into God’s mission to make all things new. That’s what our salvation and our work is for.
